Live Project

Heathrow House refurbishment, originally designed and built in the early 1960's, with its prominent location on the flight path into Heathrow airport, created a unique design opportunity both for Rolfe Judd Architects and for Focchi.

Rolfe Judd have created a series of glass feature screens floating in front of the main elevation. The screens are animated by the introduction of coloured glass and graphics to the blinds, creating a dynamic visual icon. These orthogonal objects provide a visual reference to the entrance pavilion to the rear of the building where the glass screen is repeated as a glass beacon.
